Let it be known, by the will of the membership, that on this day the guild Sic Semper Tyrannis has adopted this document as the official charter of our organization. The precepts here-in represent not only the principals of our guild members, but the very foundation of the guild itself.
The Charter (Final Draft)
The Guild Sic Semper Tyrannis has been created to serve the needs of its members. The membership of Sic Semper Tyrannis, through a democratic process, remain in full command of all guild resources and assets.
Guild Members agree to abide by the precepts set forth by High Council governing the behavior of members. They also agree to support their guild brothers and sisters in any way possible, without question.
The Precepts
1. No Guild Member shall participate in the killing of innocents.
Murder is considered a High Crime. Members proven to have killed an innocent will be expelled from the guild without appeal.
2. Guild Members will support any member of our allied guilds as though they were members of SST, in any way possible, without question.
When interacting with our allies, Members will conduct themselves with the utmost in professionalism. We treat our allies with care and concern. Any Member accused of disrespecting an ally of SST will suffer penalties as dictated by the High Council. This can include fines and apologies or termination of Membership.
3. All Guild Member actions will embody the values of integrity, commitment, concern and respect for all players.
SST is an honorable guild. When in the presence of people who know nothing of our guild, we will conduct ourselves in an honorable manner. In our communications to everyone, even our enemies, we will refrain from using obscenities. All of our members are of a higher breed, we do not resort to common gutter-talk to prove our points. Each Member's actions will define the character of SST. So when out in the world, behave in a manner that is worthy of our guild.
5. Guild members agree to hold one concept, above all, as the most important to the success of Sic Semper Tyrannis; We are a group of friends, who have come together to add depth and fun to our UO experience.
Members of SST have one trait in common, we are kind and generous of spirit. Each of us are members of a family, heralds of a cause much larger than ourselves. Take this concept to heart, and you will find much success within our ranks.
